In the semifinals of the Hippo Olympiad

Top 10 per cent of the participating students in our country qualified for the semifinals of this competition, including our students: Teodora Vujković, Lucija Skenderović and Jonatan Sijanta. The semi-final round was held on Friday, April 21, in „Svetozar Marković“ Grammar School in Subotica. The results will be known in May.

For the sixth consecutive year, our students have participated in the HIPPO English Language Olympiad, an international English language competition. Preliminary round was held at our school on Friday, 17 Mar 2023. Our school was represented by 11 students, divided into three categories based on their age- Nađa Bedeković, Teodora Evetović. Staša Stanković, Dušan Urukalo, Teodora Vujković and Antonio Moravčić (Hippo 1), Marijana Skenderović, Ana Serenče and Lucija Skenderović (Hippo 2), Maja Matić and Jonatan Sijanta (Hippo 3). Our dear guest was also our former student Ana Davčik who competed in Hippo 4 catogory. After the preliminary round tests have been marked, the top 10% of participating students from our country will be invited to the semi-final round.
Students’ mentors are Svetlana Pribičević and Miroslav Rauš. Thanks to our teachers, Ivana Vuković and Ibolja Vukobratović for their help in organising the first round of the competition.
